Additional access and support

OnGuard Access Control 7.5 also offers support for Platform as a Service (PaaS) through Microsoft’s Azure cloud hosting platform. This gives OnGuard customers access to an array of service—from data storage to utility computing—and allows them to take advantage of two critical platform capabilities: Azure Active Directory and SQL Azure for database services.

Mobility while maintaining security

The new BlueDiamond Mobile 2.1 feature allows users to activate their mobile credentials without removing their phone from their pocket or bag. This feature is made possible by the incorporation of BlueDiamond firmware into an Assa Abloy wireless lock, PN120, enabling it to work seamlessly with the Blue Diamond app.

Enhanced cybersecurity

OnGuard 7.5 now supports Two-Factor Authentication through OpenIDConnect, Single Sign On across browser and thick clients, and NIST- and NERC- compliant password management. An OnGuard Hardening Guide has also been released to support customers in optimizing their system’s cybersecurity.

The OnGuard Visitor Self Service (VSS) module from Lenel enhances the OnGuard Visitor Management option capabilities of the OnGuard system by simplifying the visitor management process. Pre-registration saves time on administrative tasks and provides the front desk and security personnel with key information on visitors to the property ahead of time.

Automate guest procedures and streamline visitor processing with the OnGuard Visitor Self Service (VSS) module. This intuitive mobile application helps employees pre-register visitors before arrival and provide them with a unique visitor code via email. When visitor arrive, the code enables them to quickly check in via an iPad and even create a visitor badge using the iPad’s camera.

Because it’s a mobile-based application, OnGuard Visitor Self Service, VSS even simplified compliance signatures and use the iPad’s camera for photo capture and/or badge creation. So businesses can provide an easy, welcoming visitor experience while maintaining a high level of security.

We offer OnGuard Credentials in Sweden. A browser-based alternative to the traditional OnGuard ID Credential Center Windows application, enabling cardholder, badge, and access level management without client installation and upgrades. Users can securely access credentialing through a Web browser on their desktop, laptop or tablet, no matter what operating system or mobile platform they use.

Based on the latest HTML5 standards, the OnGuard credentials module features a responsive user interface and supports a wide range of client platforms. It even enables photo capture through the camera on a tablet, as well as through a built-in or USB-attached camera on a laptop or desktop computer.

Designed with the user in mind, this flexible module provides a fresh take on cardholder and access rights management. A List of Cardholderss with simple sorting and rich filtering options is always visible, while a scrolling pane with expandable sections for cardholder, badge, and access level information polishes all critical information at your fingertips.

Simplifying Policy enforcement and access control.

Overview
We supply and support Lenel OnGuard policies in Sweden. A web-based analysis tool that insures the OnGuard system is correctly configured to enforce corporate security policies. Efficient and cost effective, OnGuard policies saves money by improving operational efficiency, while significantly reducing risk exposure.

Ideal for applications like hospitals, where access control is mission critical, OnGuard policies allows users to define security policies and automatically correct non-compliant access rights in the OnGuard system. When in place, OnGuard policies monitors the OnGuard system and automatically checks compliance for all employees, correcting access rights as needed.

With OnGuard policies, costly department audits and managerial reviews are eliminated. The Web-based analysis tool also provides the user with a better understanding of policy effectiveness and risks, based on the patterns of identified policy violations. OnGuard policies can also test new policies, helping to determine their impact prior to implementation.
